Young at Heart

Young at Heart is Centreville Baptist’s vibrant ministry for senior adults, though everyone is welcome! From restaurant outings and hymn sings to antique hunts and bingo, our monthly gatherings are all about fun, fellowship, and caring for one another in Christ. We typically meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month, with updates posted online, in the church bulletin, or available through our coordinators. Come join the joy—let’s fellowship together!

Deacon Ministry

At Centreville Baptist Church, our deacons are elected men called and set apart to serve the families of our congregation. Chosen for their spiritual maturity and heart for others, they carry out the practical, hands-on work of caring for our church family, visiting the sick, comforting the grieving, meeting needs quietly, and standing alongside members through life's hardest moments.

Much of what our deacons do happens behind the scenes, without recognition or fanfare. They are the steady, faithful backbone of our care ministry, the ones who show up, listen well, and point people back to Christ in practical ways. Their service reflects the heart of Acts 6, where deacons were first appointed so the church could care well for its people while remaining devoted to prayer and the ministry of the Word.
